The Capitol Hill Jazz Band is a student ensemble from Capitol Hill Gifted and Talented school in St. Paul, directed by Jack Breen. These young musicians are building their jazz chops and raising funds to support their music program.
Walker West Music Academy has been a home for music in St. Paul since 1988, rooted in the African American cultural experience and open to everyone. Their advanced jazz ensemble — also directed by Jack Breen — joined us for an incredible concert in March 2025.
